On this occasion, he met with President López Obrador to whom he gave a Cantabria team shirt, which the head of the Executive showed on his social networks.
At the meeting that took place at the National Palace, Botín was accompanied by the executive president of Santander México, Felipe García, and Laura Diez Barroso, president of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero in México.
In the last week, Botín has been visiting South America, where he has met with the teams from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru and Colombia .
According to their social networks, progress has been made in Brazil despite the “difficult economic situation for the country” and the world, but in that country they have had good results, which shows their resistance and ability to anticipate trends.
